My Sunday courses are proving very popular so I’ve decided to run another block of courses after October half term. In the New Year I may go back to after school courses, I’m not yet sure.
Dates will be Sunday 4,18,25 November & 2 December (we are having to miss a week – 11 November – due to the hall already having a booking) and there are a choice of time slots; 9.15-10.15am or 10.30am-11.30am.
So, why would you want to book your child on a course?
Not only will children benefit from enjoying some relaxation time themselves but they will also learn that they can use every day, including:
- how to develop their self confidence
- how to manage their moods and emotions
- how to manage stress and anxiety
- how to increase brain power
- how to relax and improve sleep
In each session we work our way through mindful movement, mindful play, gentle stretching, self massage, calming breathing exercises, positive affirmations and creative visualisations. This takes around 40 minutes and is followed by a relevant activity and children will take home for example a happy cup (so that they can write down their happy thoughts), a worry wallet (so that they can write down their worries) and other things too.
What age are courses aimed at? Children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
How much does the course cost? Cost per child is £30 for the 4 weeks.
Where will the course take place? Sessions take place in Brighton Hill.
What else can you offer if we can’t commit to the 4 weeks? I also run 1-2-1 sessions which are very popular. My 1-2-1 sessions take place in your home at a time that suits you. Sessions are tailored to areas you need support with and cost £50 for the hour. I tend to visit once and leave you with lots of ideas of things that you can then incorporate into your lives. Of course I’m more than happy to visit more than once and some people do indeed have a regular session with me.
If you’d like more information please do get in touch, or if you want to book up a place please do so here.
